Olympic legend James Magnussen shares the secret to swimming faster freestyle with Branxton Greta Swim Club members.

Branxton Greta Swim Club members aged 8+ participated in a development clinic with James Magnussen on the 29th October. With a focus on Swim Faster Freestyle the Redbacks had the opportunity to hear from the twice world champion himself on the importance of setting goals and prioritising training. Getting the chance to put into practice a broad range of freestyle tips was hugely beneficial. The highlight of the morning was seeing it all come together with races at the end - including Magnussen's pool record 33m swim of 15.81 seconds! The lessons of the day will be remembered by many Redbacks forever.

Branxton Greta Swim Club thanks James Magnussen for visiting our club and sharing his knowledge. We also thank the NSW Office of Sport for the club development grant used to subsidise the cost for our club.
